Cultuur Connect
Evaluating the Effectiveness of Library Late Fees
About the project
This project focuses on analysing the impact of removing library fines, meaning there are no penalties for late or missing book returns, and evaluates how this policy affects both libraries and their users. By combining data analysis with policy evaluation, the project aims to determine whether fine-free models improve accessibility and user engagement while remaining sustainable for library management.
